Last summer, we were on the verge of no longer accepting pets at our Getaways. In the past, we eagerly offered this unique opportunity for you and your dogs to share the Adirondack adventure. However, every year we experience more and more violations to our "pet policy", including guests who brings their pets along without confirmation during the reservation.

In spite of this, rather than to ban all DOGS, all together, we are instituting a new policy. We will still allow only 2 DOGS per stay and require advanced registration, confirmation in writing and a fee of $10.00 per pet, per stay. This fee will be added to a refundable $50.00, (per pet) cleaning/damage deposit.

The Following Outlines our New Policy

1. Dogs Must always be on a leash and under your control.
   
2. Dogs Must never be left unattended in the cabins, unless in a portable kennel.
   
3. Dogs Must not be tied to trees or decks on the property left to bark or frighten passer-by.
   
4. Cabins Must be left free of dog hair (each cabin is supplied with a vacuum cleaner and a lint roller). If we find evidence of dog hair, your damage deposit will not be refunded.
   
5. All Dog Litter must be cleaned up and disposed of properly.
   
6. If your dog is a "barker", we kindly ask that you leaves him/her at home.
   
7. No Cats, or other household pets are allowed -- We are not particular bias toward cats -- but many of our guest are allergic to them.
